On August 16, 2019, the 23rd EBI Golf Open – Helping Youth was held. More than 160 golfers teed off in this tournament, which took place at Club de golf de Berthier. That evening, close to 230 guests sat down to a delicious meal and laughed along with the comedy of François Massicotte. The 2019 edition of the EBI Gold Open was a success in raising $56,500 to support youth organizations and associations in the region.
The funds were awarded on September 20 to 13 organizations so that they can carry out various projects to help young people and support families in financially precarious situations, a gesture that matters greatly to EBI. Since it began, this family business has cared deeply about improving the environment and the quality of life of people living in our community.

It is also important to point out that the 23rd edition of the EBI Golf Open was planned as a green event: tickets were only sent electronically, and reusable water bottles were given to participants. Moreover, to offset greenhouse gases resulting from the event, EBI has committed to plant 25 trees over the coming year to ensure that the Golf Open becomes carbon-neutral.
EBI management and the organizing committee would like to thank those who took part in the event, whether as volunteers, donors or partners. Without them, the Open would not have been such a success!
