Disposal of sludge from septic tanks

Treatment of septic tank sludge

Our septic tank sludge treatment station employs a rotary ring press dehydration process. The filtrate is then evacuated by gravity into a conduit leading directly to the water treatment plant. The dehydrated sludge is put to use at the composting centre.

The station is equipped with the following infrastructures:DRN

  • Grate
  • Homogenous settling tank
  • Conditioning system
  • Rotary ring press
  • Dehydrated sludge salvaging unit

This process is an efficient way to homogenize, condition and dehydrate sludge thus allowing it to be put to use in secure and environmentally safe ways.

Our facilities conform perfectly to government regulations, and are equipped with a storage tank that treats sludge at a rate of 60 m3 per hour, 12 months a year.
