EBI is proud to announce a long-term lease on two compressed natural gas tractor trucks to Dynapro Transport. Founded in 2003 by Michel Perron, Dynapro Transport is a family company specializing in regional refrigerated transportation. Its fleet of trucks now includes more than 55 tractor trucks and straight trucks and more than 45 trailers, employing some 85 people.
“We are proud to have incorporated natural gas into our fleet of trucks; this is our way of contributing to improving the environment. Reducing our greenhouse gas emissions by using renewable natural gas is a big deal!” points out Pascal Perron, Vice-President of Dynapro Transport.
Leased for the next five years from EBI Énergie, the Peterbilt trucks with a 400 HP ISX engine will be fueled mainly at the EBI Énergie public CNG refueling station in Montréal-Est. “This is an outstanding collaborative effort with the EBI team and there’s no doubt that other CNG trucks will be joining the Dynapro Transport fleet in the coming years,” continues Mr. Perron.
In addition to the environmental aspect, transporters have everything to gain by using compressed natural gas as a fuel, particularly in terms of savings.
It’s what you call a win-win scenario!
